We offer private trails use for
RESPONSIBLE Side x Side owners looking to enjoy the Smoky Mountains on their own machine. This is NOT a 'GROUP TOUR'. Sign waiver, make payment, let's review the facility map a minute, and you hit the trails! Our Location: 462 Middle Creek Rd Cosby, TN 37722 YOU MUST come in on Middle Creek Rd! There is NO "back way" in! |

PRIVATE TRAILS for YOUR side by side! This is NOT a guided tour. We are located in Cosby, TN, on the 'sleepy side' of the Smoky Mountains. We don't have traffic back ups, no Go-Kart tracks, neon lights, or concrete jungle. Easy to access from Interstate 40 exit 440, or from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville via county roads. Want to bring your rig to the Smokies but can't store it at your Airbnb? We'll store it for you while you vacay. Details below.

We don't GIVE A RIP about the brand of your SxS as long as it is in good mechanical condition and mountain trails ready. We own an economical brand, CFMoto, and it lets me get around and check trails and clients just fine. It is a STOCK RIG with front and rear differential lock and adequate suspension; it does us fine. Name brand rigs with all kinds of modifications sure are super awesome no doubt... they are welcome here of course, but mods NOT needed.

Additional guidelines are in the actual waiver and release form, but here are the ones that will allow you to decide if we are a good fit for you. We understand if we're not. We also know our rules and regs actually appeal to a lot a folks!.
NO ALCOHOL, NO DRUGS. PERIOD. We're not the 'fun police' but we are not the party place. Save your recreational habits until after you depart our location, please. Nobody likes to deal with 'Drunky-the-Clown', so please, just don't...
TREAD LIGHTLY. Side by Sides are well known to tear the crap out of every trail they travel, so we mandate responsible wheeling by every driver. Undoubtedly you will leave evidence of tracks and upturned dirt as you travel along and climb our mountains, we just ask you be considerate and be on the side of Tread Lightly ideals.
NO LITTER - PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT. We bust our ARSE to keep a facility we are proud to share. Unlike the normal trails use area, there is no trash and litter here and want to keep it that way! Matter of fact, we do not even have trash cans for use (as they attract critters) so plan accordingly.
SAFE MACHINES and USE OF SAFETY EQUIPMENT. Your machine MUST be mechanically sound and in good working order and be equipped with dependable brakes and good tires. Use of internal restraints and belts MUST be worn at all times. Age appropriate DOT approved restraints and age appropriate carriage vessels must be used for children, just like they are in your car on the road. Each passenger must have a seat in the vehicle. There is NO 'lap riding' allowed.

Some lodging set ups either don't allow trailers or the driveways are ridiculous and there is nowhere to turn around. Solution: Drop your rig and trailer here for $20/night. Coordinate with Dan. Easy. If you come in via Interstate 40 Exit 440, we're just 8mins out and then it'll be an easier drive to your final destination minus your trailer!

How long would you expect to be here?
Very few of our trails are done at higher speeds as we have plenty of terrain and trees to navigate. We have about 8 miles of mountain trails for you to enjoy! The traditional SxS is so ridiculously good off road (so much faster than a Jeep / Bronco / Tacoma, etc), you'll probably get around all the trails and up to the very top of the mountain once or twice to enjoy the pretty views in 2 to 4 hours. Trails run both directions (with exception of two trails), so you can hit them each direction for fun and longer ride times. We give you a trail map to navigate with and the trails are marked. A lot of folks say they hit all the trails, but they left many out... I see the tracks left behind :-)
Pack a picnic lunch! As we are family friendly and promote a drama-free environment, we always encourage you pack a picnic lunch! Some folks appreciate the picnic tables in the large pavilion, and some love to snack at the top of the mountain! Please note we do not have trash cans for use. Pack it in, Pack it all out!

NO - we are NOT meant for large 35' toy haulers or 40' equipment floats with 3 rigs on it! We have a pretty steep drive in, and a hard left turn in the metal gates that creates problems for large rigs. Please inquire if you have this situation / set up. Yes, we have parking for your 'normal' tow rig and trailer.
