Recent Trail Use Feedback:
"My wife and I went to Outdoors in the Smokies yesterday for a couple of hours of trail riding in our Jeep Wrangler. The entire property is clean, organized and well run. Dan was great! Trails are mostly mild to moderate, with some difficult trails. All trails are well marked, so you can stay on the trail rating that you want.We had a great time and we will definitely be back!" - Tom VA
"Fantastic off-road adventure! A must add to your camping trip or drive through the Gatlinburg, TN area. Dan was expecting us when we arrived and made us feel comfortable right away. I had only been through soft Florida sand previously, but he quickly provided useful recommendations that had us charging up the steep "black" trails in no time. Their trail rating system is easily visible so you don't get in over your head and is a huge confidence booster as you progress to some of the more challenging sections. Outdoors in the Smokies was a highlight for my vacation and it was great to test my vehicle's capabilities in a more controlled environment...the kids even had a blast! Dan checked in on us a couple of times which really added a personal touch. Incredible experience led by a true professional...would highly recommend this business to anyone ready to test their tread!" - Brandon FL
"We had a wonderful time on the network of Jeep trails. VERY well marked and a VERY good paper map. The area is not huge but there are a TON of trails for all levels of Jeepers. We had a 2014 Stock 2 door Willys Wheeler and we made it up to the top of the lookout without any issues. Dan is a great host and has great attention to detail. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone wanting to test both their rig and themselves." - Kris OK
"Went here today for roughly an hour and had an awesome time. It is well laid out, clean, and organized. I would have stayed longer if not on a time hack for only a weekend vacation. Dan was extremely hospitable and cordial. I highly recommend this facility to anyone who is reading this or thinking about visiting." J.M.
"Had an amazing time at Outdoors in the Smokies. This is truly a hidden gem and best bang for the buck in the southeast. Dan is awesome, gave us great advice and pointed us in the right direction for some off road fun. Super nice guy and you can tell he wants you to have fun and not get in over your head. He smartly pointed out some trails to avoid that we weren't ready for. By far the most challenging off-roading I've ever done. There are trails for all skill levels, definitely some were far more challenging than I was prepared for but we rode them anyway. #3 is a black that goes up to some scenic views and was awesome but we had some white knuckle times (especially the kids). There was one trail with a little water/mud but most were mountainous terrain. For reference we were in a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara with 2.5" lift and 31" BFG Mud Terrains at 20psi. Definitely planning a trip back. Best $80 I've ever spent." Shane SC
